Arrivederci Pizzeria, a cherished local gem, has been delighting Brisbane with its mouthwatering pizzas for generations. When they approached Hype Creative to breathe new life into their brand with a complete refresh, we gladly accepted the challenge. Our approach was simple – to blend modern design trends with the comforting nostalgia of Italian family restaurants of yesteryears.

We've introduced contemporary touches to classics from a bygone era, like the pixelated gingham pattern and a colour palette that draws inspiration from the Italian flag, creating a brand that resonated deeply with our client and a brand that Nonna herself would be proud of.

 A bold approach to packaging design made for recognisable takeaway bags, pizza boxes, labels and more. Showcasing heartwarming moments from the founders' personal lives spanning the decades, from shots of grappa on their wedding day (saluti!) to holiday snaps of summers in Rome. This peek into the lives of the owners of this restaurant across the generations gives diners both in-store and at home a chance to connect with the family behind the recipes and provides a personal and unforgettable branding touch point.
